YASHICA MINIMATIC-C MANUAL
The Yashica Minimatic-C is  a very easy camera to operate.  All you’re required to do, as a human, is to set  it to “auto,” then set the  DIN/ASA, focus and pull  the trigger.  It’s a Sunday stroll type camera when you don’t want to worry about setting the f/stop or the shutter speed or playing with a light meter. The key is to find one with everything working, especially
the light meter.  Without it, you’ll have to resort to the flash mode where you get to set the f/stop but the camera sets the speed to 1/30th of second making it necessary to utilize a tripod unless you have very steady hands if you desire unshaken photography. It’s a very beautiful camera.  It is two-toned in silver and gray and heavy as it should be.  The only fault that I could
find with this camera was with the  rangefinder.  It was very difficult to focus because the overlapping rectangle was nearly invisible.  Perhaps I just need to take the top off and give it a good cleaning, but for now it will do. The Yashica Minimatic-C is easy to acquire at reasonable prices if the thought ever passes your mind.
